bowen therapy spring active hay fever garden back

Spring is here !  The temperature is getting warmer, the days are getting longer !

read simply bowen therapy’s spring news how Bowen can help you through springtime, referral bonus, a new client area, and a scrummy, easy spring recipe…

I love when spring starts – the longer days and the sun warm…

For many, the spring weather means more time outdoors.  It’s time to come out of hibernation (even though Sydney winter’s not that cold), and time to get more active again.

It’s the ideal time of year for walks and hiking – not too cold to need lots of warm clothes, not too hot to be uncomfortable… and it’s the time that many feel niggles as they become more active.  If you feel that your body is slowing you down, or not feeling quite right, then make sure you take action before the little aches turn into something bigger and more painful !

With spring often comes allergies and hay fever.  Did you know that Bowen can also help reduce the impact of hay fever ?  While I haven’t written about it (yet), the Bowen Therapy Professional Association has (here). The best time to get treatment is before the pollen is about and before the symptoms start.  Drop me a line if you’d like to find out more…

If you’re also trying to get the garden back in shape again, turning over the soil and starting to get vegetables in – do take care of your back !  Remember to use your knees when lifting… take it easy when bending over, and not for too long at a time… and do plenty of stretches !  If this still doesn’t quite get you there, then hopefully only a couple of treatments will get you back to feeling ache-free.

I hope you also enjoy my favourite time of year !

Best wishes,
